Description

The Venus flytrap shuts two bristle-fringed lobes on a fly in a tenth of a second. The bladderwort sucks its prey in within a thousandth of a second — the fastest movement in the plant kingdom. The corkscrew plant buries spiral tubes in the ground, lined with inward-pointing hairs: you can go in, you cannot back out.

There was nothing to add. They only had to be drawn in line.

Every page shows its level of detail. One star: large simple shapes, for a five-year-old. Three stars: every vein, every bristle, every tentacle drawn separately — enough to occupy an adult for an evening.
