Description
Please note all plants are shipped by their own, bare root wrapped with humidified towel in order to optimize shipping & care of the plants.
This is spatulata sundew, which can be found in the wild in Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, China and Japan. Its spatula-shaped traps are covered with a multitude of small sticky hairs that can catch insects.
Culture tips:
Demineralized water (rain, water from a dehumidifier / air conditioning, osmosis etc.)
Lots of sunshine / LED or CFL light (color 6400 Kelvin)
Soil: 50% peat moss, 50% perlite
Culture temperature:
Up to 30° C in summer, between 0 and 15° C in winter.
Specific advice to Sunedw :
Strong exposure to the sun in the summer in the morning or in the afternoon.
Mid-exposure to the midday sun.
Need a winter break with cool temperatures and less sun exposure.
